City Of Lufkin Fireworks Extravaganza 2016
Since 2005, Mike Love and Associates have brought the most spectacular fireworks show to Lufkin, and you don't want to miss the sights and sounds at the Ellen Trout Park & Zoo.
Live music, vendors, patriotism, oh my!
The City of Lufkin is ready and so glad that sponsor Mike Love and Associates Law Firm are back again for the 11th year. This is THE largest fireworks display between Dallas and Houston. It will all happen on the loop, in Lufkin, at Ellen Trout Park, and everything that it offers, so you can spend a full day celebrating our nation’s independence. The Zoo will be open from 9 AM to 8 PM, the Z&OO Railroad will be running until it gets dark. The city will provide a rock wall, bounce houses, and lots of other fun activities for the kids.
Live Music on Stage starting at 5 PM courtesy of Lufkin ER. Bryan Harkness and his band will be closing the night right before the fireworks.
Vendors will be in the park serving all your favorite food and more starting at 4pm.
Fireworks start at 9:30 PM or as soon as it is dark.
Shuttle to and from the park is available for easy access parking at the Lufkin High School starting at 5 PM. Loop 287 will be closed from 59 to 69 from 8 PM until 10, so make sure to avoid the area if you aren’t going to the fireworks.
Leave the hard work to us, and come celebrate the 4th of July in style!
