It's the dog days of summer and it's tough to keep an exercise routine going right now. We may be in luck, at least a little luck, when it comes to burning calories. Just take a hot bath! Well, that sounds easy enough.

The Indian Express stated that research at Loughborough University in the UK found that taking a hot bath burns about 130 calories which is the same amount burned during a 30 minute walk. Of course, a hot bath won't tone you up like real exercise but hey you can't have everything. Because of the hot weather my husband and I haven't been out riding our bikes like we had. This just might help us out a bit.

I love the hot weather but I'm ready to get back on my bike especially after watching a little of the Tour de France the past couple of weeks. Until then maybe I should  just try the hot bath thing for a few days.  ;)
