‘Sesame Street’ Makes the HBO Move in First Trailer and Poster
As weird as it still feels to think of Sesame Street on HBO, the educational gang have officially made their big move ahead of the January 16 premiere. Then again, why tell you how to get to the new Sesame Street, when we can show you in a new trailer and poster?
In addition to the new trailer and poster, the 46th season of Sesame Street will premiere two new half-hour episodes on Saturday, January 16 at 9:00 A.M., subsequently airing one new episode each Saturday. Celebrity guests at first will include Gwen Stefani, Pharrell, Nick Jonas, Sara Bareilles, Alan Cumming, Ne-Yo and more, while the series has also added a new cast member, Nina.
Lest you forget, HBO episodes will air on PBS nine months later, with a wealth of content available between HBO’s affiliates and streaming HBO GO / NOW platforms, as well as PBS viewing portals.
