Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are officially hitched! Nevermind every high-profile divorce and breakup you've mourned over the past week, because love is indeed alive.

PEOPLE reports that the longtime couple held an intimate ceremony at their Bel Air home yesterday (August 6), with just 70 friends and family members in attendance. Guests included Lisa Kudrow, Chelsea Handler and Howard Stern — and we're willing to bet Aniston's former Friends costar and bestie Courteney Cox was there as well.

Though the two met in 2008 on the set of Tropic Thunder (which Justin co-wrote), they didn't start dating in 2011, and got engaged in 2012. PEOPLE quotes Aniston as saying of The Leftovers actor, "Justin was the best thing this decade." She also previously told the magazine that "When we get married he will be wearing his ring. It just won't say Justin anymore," she said, suggesting it may have "Jen" engraved on the inside instead.

Despite the couple's low-key happiness and relaxed attitude toward their lengthy engagement, tabloids have persisted in circulating "Poor Jen!" cover stories every few months since her marriage to Brad Pitt ended in 2005. In the ten-plus years since, gossip outlets have mined endless stories about Jennifer's allegedly miserable, childless spinster life with little-to-no actual evidence. Perhaps Justin and Jennifer's nuptials will switch up the narrative — or at least stem the tide for a few months.

Head over to TMZ if you'd like to see grainy paparazzi photos of the event, including one shot of a cake with two amazing Jen and Justin puppets on top. Congratulations to the happy couple!
