To help kick off October as Hands Are Not for Hitting Month, The Family Crisis Center of East Texas invites one and all to Louis Bronaugh Park Amphitheater in Lufkin tomorrow night at 6pm for a screening of The Hunger Games. The Family Crisis Center of East Texas works to advance and ensure the safety of women, children, and men by providing crisis intervention and advocacy services to those who have been affected by family violence or sexual assault.

To help raise awareness, they've declared October "Hands Are Not For Hitting Month" and have scheduled a ton of great activities and events for families all across the Lufkin and Nacogdoches area.

Here in Lufkin, they're starting the month off with a special, free, outdoor screening of The Hunger Games. It's open to the public, but remember that The Hunger Games is rated PG-13.
