I didn't get Nicki Minaj‘s weird Grammy performance on Sunday. Luckily, I'm not the only one! I was starting to think maybe I was out of touch. The rapper visited with Ryan Seacrest’ yesterday (Feb. 13) and defended her performance, if that's what you want to call it!

If you didn't see it you can catch the performance below, just a warning, your eyes will start to cross with confusion! She debuted her new single ‘Roman Holiday’ with dancing monks and a man dressed like the pope. My guess is she's possessed.

Fans reaction to Minaj’s show have been mixed. “Stevie Wonder was the luckiest man in the crowd at the Nicki Minaj performance,” wrote Kuban Sinatra. Actor Neil Patrick Harris loved what he saw and tweeted, “Nicki Minaj was outstanding. Levitations rule.”

She told Seacrest that her bizarre performance was a complete success and the Grammy producers begged her to bring it to stage.  Ha! Really?

“It’s the most comfortable I have been on stage in my entire life,” she said. “Because, first of all, the Grammys chose ‘Roman Holiday’ … And I could not play them another record after they heard that.”

As for the religious spectacle? “I had this vision for Roman … People around him tell him that he’s not good enough because he’s not normal and he’s not blending in with the average Joe,” she explains. “He wanted to show that not only is he amazing … and he’s confident, but he’s never gonna change, he’s never gonna be exorcised.”

Um...O.K. Only one word comes to my mind...Bizzarro! And by the way, what was the deadmau5 (Dead Mouse) thing about? Man, I feel old!

How did you like her performance?
